Scrubbing is an important part of my beauty regime. It removes dead skin and makes the skin feel softer and look brighter. I exfoliate my skin once a week and use different scrubs for both my body and face. I recently discovered a really good body scrub which I’m slightly obsessed with lately and I might review it soon, but today I want to talk about the Beauty Formulas Cucumber and Avocado Facial Scrub. This is a great budget-proof facial scrub from which I think is perfect for summer since it’s really refreshing and contains cucumber which has a cooling effect on the skin.
The Beauty Formulas Cucumber and Avocado Facial Scrub has a invigorating formula that gently exfoliates removing dull, dead skin cells for a smoother, softer and radiant skin. It’s really refreshing and has a nice and mild fragrance. There is nothing special about the packaging, but it’s a budget product so I don’t really mind. The white tube has a a flip to open cap. It’s spill proof and easy to dose the product. The tube contains 150 ml/5.0 oz. and costs around 3/4 euro. The scrub is blue with brown coloured scrub particles which are very mild. It’s really a gentle scrub, so if you have any blackheads this might not be for you. Neither might this be a good fit if you try to avoid parabens. The ingredients list: Aqua (Water), Stearic Acid, Kaolin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Prunus Armeniaca, Seed Powder, Paraffinum Liquidum, Ceteareth-20, Monopropylene Glycol, Tocopherol Acetate, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Extract, Parfum (Fragrance), Triethanolamine, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Prypolparaben, CI 42090 CI 19140.
It’s really a refreshing and gentle scrub. Obviously it removes my dead skin cells and makes my skin looks brighter. After using the scrub it also leaves my skin soft and smooth. It’s definitely not the best scrub out there, but considering the price I would say it’s a really good product. Especially if you look for a mild and gentle scrub.
